Kid Reservations and Sales Policy:
Thank you so much for your interest in our goats! We strive to produce well bred, correct and productive animals that will be equally at home in the show ring or the milk room!
If you are interested in placing a free reservation, please fill out and submit our RESERVATION FORM.
All non-reserved sales are on a first come, first served basis, and kids will be posted on my FACEBOOK PAGE and on the website’s SALES PAGE when they are available.
Please check our KIDDING SCHEDULE for our current breeding plans.
We do not take reservations based on coat or eye color.
Crazy Chick Farms reserves the right to retain any kid from any breeding at any time regardless of reservations. If at any time you choose to sell a doe or buck you purchased from us, we request that you contact us for first right of refusal.
Once a kid is born/available I will contact the reservation holders. Reservation holders have 24 hours to respond to my email before I move on to the next person on the list. Once notified, the buyer must place a non-refundable deposit of half the price of the kid within 48 hours. After 48 hours, if the deposit is not received, the kid will be offered to the next person on the reservation list or listed for sale. The balance is due before the kid leaves the farm.
All available kids will be posted on our Facebook Page and Sales Page as they come available and after reservations are filled. There will be no holds without a deposit.
All of our babies are raised on the bottle.
Doelings purchased will be available to go home either as bottle babies to experienced homes, or weaned at 10 weeks old. Doelings will be disbudded, treated with coccidia prevention, and current on their CD&T (if age appropriate). They will be registered with ADGA.
Bucklings purchased will be available to go home as either bottle babies, or weaned at 8 weeks old. Bucklings will be disbudded, treated with coccidia prevention, and current on their CD&T (if age appropriate). They will be registered with ADGA.
Future wethers (castrated males) are available at 3 weeks old as bottle babies only, unless they will be a companion for a doeling being purchased from us. Wethers will be disbudded and treated with their first dose of coccidia prevention.
Please see our Caring for Bottle Babies page for more info on taking home bottle babies.
PURCHASING ADULT ANIMALS: When buying an adult animal, half the purchase price is due as a deposit to hold the animal while transportation arrangements are being made. Any animal will be considered still for sale until the deposit is received. The balance will be due in full before any animal leaves my property. Adult animals not picked up within 30 days of purchase/deposit, unless otherwise arranged with me, will be re-listed for sale and you will forfeit your deposit.
We will not sell anyone single kids unless you already have other goats at your home. Goats are highly social herd animals and need to have the company of other goats. If you are buying a doe or a buck from me and need a buddy, companion wethers may be available at a discounted price.
Wethers: We will have pet wethers available for $200 each (or 2 for $350) Check our sales page for availability. We do have a waiting list for wethers, and reservations will be filled in order received. We do not take wether reservations based on coat or eye color.
All kids will be disbudded, tattooed, up to date on CD&T (if age appropriate), and come with ADGA registration papers. Registration will not be provided for wethers.
Goats are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. We are not responsible for the health of any animal once it leaves our farm, NO guarantee is extended. In the event that a genetic defect is found after the animal has left our farm, and the defect is documented/confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, a replacement in the form of another kid either from the same year or the next year’s kidding season will be provided. Examples of genetic problems include, but are not limited to, extra teats or sterility. There is no monetary refund for genetic defects.
Transportation: shipping is to be arranged at the buyers expense. All veterinary inspections and required tests are the buyer’s responsibility to pay for and are not included in the price of the animal.
